Guest guest
I too am six weeks out and battle my nausea all day. I am presently on compazine but it appears to be less and less effective as the days press on. I can't tell if the nausea is dietary related as it comes with so many things (lactose, flour, nuts, grain, chicken legs....weird). I know it is not acid as NONE of those remedies worked for me at all. The compazine worked really well the first 2 weeks but the last week or so it seems to be wearing off quicker (I take it every 6 hours around the clock). I intend to discuss it with Dr. H. soon as I am not sure how long I can be on it anyway. Ask your doctor for an anti-nausea (car sickness etc.) script. I will get something else soon as the moving ship feeling does not promote any kind of productive lifestyle for me. Hope that was helpful. Sondra Post-Op 6/18/01 w/Dr. Herron @ Mt.
