Guest guest
Wow, all these responses and details about Lunas are making me hungry for one LOL!!! They sound delicious (Pecan pie..is my favorite sweet on the planet..lol). is not that far from me and it sounds like she hasn't seen them so it must be a NYC thing!! I have tried CVS, KMART, local grocery stores, 7-11, Target, Costco, GNC, Shoprite and they just aren't here in Staten Island. All I find is the cardboard ones. : I have tried the Pure Protein blueberry cheesecake one, I didn't find it as palatable as you did...but thanks. I am lucky enough that someone from the list has offered to send me a few Lunas. At least I will be able to sample them before taking the plunge. And I will go back to Costco this week, maybe it is the equivalent to Osco in Ohio!! Thanks so much to all of you who responded! Sondra 6/18/01 Dr. Herron @Mt. Guest guest
Sondra, do you happen to have a Trader Joe's in your neighborhood? That's where I got my luna bars. Debbie
Guest guest
You might try ordering from http://www.netrition.com . You can order bars (including Luna bars) singly so that you can try them out without ordering a whole box. Kathleen F Open Duodenal Switch Drs. Osco is a drugstore, I think (from what I recall of growing up in the NW burbs of Chicagoland) -- Similar to our RiteAid or Duane.... Can you locate the individual Lunas in the city? I haven't really looked for them but I've heard a lot about them. You might be able to find Luna Bars at Costco, but most likely a huge box of them... I like the idea of trying them individually first to see if you like the flavor... Let me know which ones are good! all the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 six months post-op and still feelin' fabu! pre-op: 307 lbs/bmi 45 (5' 9 1/2 " ) now: 228 (yahoo - still goin' down!)
