Guest guest
I attended 's funeral today. It was sad, but beautiful. I want to share with all of you a portion of the euology that the priest gave. I was sobbing through the whole thing. I will not be able to quote him word for word but here is the main point he made. He started off talking about how some of us must be wondering why God would make a child who was blind, in a wheelchair, in and out of the hospital and in the end having pain. Any why would God have a child die before her parents; that is not the way it is suppose to be. He went on to say that that is the human way of looking at things. But if we were to look at the situation from God's eye we would see that through , God's grace shinned on all of us. had an incredible belly laugh, she loved everyone unconditionally, and she taught her brother and those who cared for her compassion. He went on to say that we should not pitty , , and for all they have suffered because they were truly blessed in that daily they witnessed God's grace. He put into words everything I have always felt about raising a child with a disability, but didn't quite know how to say it. It was beautiful and very touching. I am so thankful to witness God's grace through all of our children. Geri-Anne and Wyatt, Complex I
