Guest guest
First and foremost I hope everyone is well.. Its been a bit since I posted, but Ive been doing my best to follow along.. Welcome to all the new people, this group is a great salvation.. Congratulations to those who have crossed over that line.. Isnt it great? Im sorry Im rambling, but for those of you that dont know me, Im . Im 27 yrs old and had my surgery 9/27/05 (the day of both my real bday and now I also consider it the day of my rebirth). I was 469lbs. the day of and as of yesterday I'm 381lbs. Ive lost 89lbs, and I couldnt feel better. I have now lost my cane, oxygen tank, insulin, and bp meds.. I honestly thought that I wouldnt make it past this year, but thank God and this surgery, here I am.. My husband seems to stare at me even more now. He just seems shocked at the progress Ive made. Its trully all surreal. I returned to work last Monday, and for the first time in about 2 years, I was able to go up and down the 3 flights of stairs. I still got a little winded, but hey, all I have now is time right?? Well once again, thanks everyone for being here, and prayers and blessings for all.
