First and foremost I hope everyone is well.. Its been a bit since I posted, but Ive been doing my best to follow along.. Welcome to all the new people, this group is a great salvation.. Congratulations to those who have crossed over that line.. Isnt it great? Im sorry Im rambling, but for those of you that dont know me, Im . Im 27 yrs old and had my surgery 9/27/05 (the day of both my real bday and now I also consider it the day of my rebirth). I was 469lbs. the day of and as of yesterday I'm 381lbs. Ive lost 89lbs, and I couldnt feel better. I have now lost my cane, oxygen tank, insulin, and bp meds.. I honestly thought that I wouldnt make it past this year, but thank God and this surgery, here I am.. My husband seems to stare at me even more now. He just seems shocked at the progress Ive made. Its trully all surreal. I returned to work last Monday, and for the first time in

about 2 years, I was able to go up and down the 3 flights of stairs. I still got a little winded, but hey, all I have now is time right?? Well once again, thanks everyone for being here, and prayers and blessings for all. Ciao,

The weight loss is great, and you'll just get healthier and healthier as more weight comes off. It does seem surreal. I am so happy your health is improving so much, and it's great that your using the stairs, you keep on track and get in all your water and exercise how ever you can and before you know it you'll be 300 and working toward 200 and so on. I'm so happy for you. You keep it up. Take care. DonnaMICHELLE URIBE wrote: First and foremost I hope everyone is well.. Its been a bit since I posted, but Ive been doing my best to follow along.. , great job! 89 lbs. since surgery! You're almost in the century club... :) It must feel great to have lost the cane and all the meds. I know I'm looking forward to that day myself. Keep up the good work and keep us posted as to your progress.
