Hello to all,

My name is lie Moloney and I live in New York. I am 32 years

old and 318 lbs.(currently on Weight Watchers,AGAIN!). My husband

and I are trying to conceive our 2nd child right now, but I am

definitely considering surgery after the baby would be born.I just

wanted to ask if any women on this list were ever in my situation.

How long did you wait until after your baby was born OR if anybody

has become pregnant after weight loss surgery?I would be having a c-

section again also.

We have a 4 year old son,but we do want to have other children.

So , I am kinda worried about the fertility aspect of the surgery.

I also have GHI as my health insurance and Blue Cross Blue Shield

for hospitalization. Will they BOTH cover the surgery?

I congratulate all of you on making the tough decision to have the

surgery done. I know that it was probably a very hard, decision to

make. It is for me at least.

I am also very hesitant to tell my family about this choice. They

are very oppinionated about EVERYTHING I do! Including my husband and

me conceiving again( " YOU are TO HEAVY!! " }. My husband is very

supportive of me having the surgery.

I'm sorry about this long post, but I have so many questions and

feelings about this. Anybody would like to respond, your feedback

would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You.

Sincerely,

lie
