Guest guest
I still am laughing. Yesterday I took the box of new toys up to our little fire station for "Toys For Tots", where I donate every year. I took my box of toys went to the front door of the fire station and rang the bell. This young firefighter maybe early 30's opened the door, starring at me and messing with the door handle as if he was nervous ask me can I help you and as I started to answer the door slipped from his hand, he turned his head to look and whack the door hit him right in the head, we both said ouch at the same time. I then asked are you okay, as he turned red in the face there were two other firefighters in the background one in his 40's and one maybe 50's, said he's not use to good looking women coming up to the fire stations door. I smiled and ask could I drop off the toys for "Toys For Tots" and the young man still embarrassed said we don't collect here anymore, the other two jumped in and said we'll take them for you and we will deliver them to our other fire station who is collecting them. I smiled and said Thank You, and left. I was happy and felt good about the compliments, but felt sorry for the young firefighter, he won't live this one down for a while, and they delivered my toys for me which was great one more thing off my list. I came home and I was laughing, my husband ask me why I told him the story, and he laughed too, then added you are one foxy lady. It does feel great, to get the compliments, sometimes it's hard to except them even when you love it. LOL DonnaDonna JordonDSJordon@... Yahoo! Shopping Find Great Deals on Holiday Gifts at Yahoo!
