Thank you for responding to my cry for help. I don't know how to go about this group thing. Do I just answer to you or is there someplace I can go on here to get more involved?

I feel I can handle this with help. I am so scared what comes next. My mother is blind, not form NS but diabetes. I just got off the insulin which was needed because of the steroids. I am down to 5mg a day and now they think that is what is causing the flare-up. I am afraid they will increase the prednisone and I will again have skin tears and pumpkin face. It was awful.

I have a great man in my life but even he gets upset with my condition. I don't blame him.

Anyway could you please tell me where to go on the web and what to do. I am really new and in need. *wink*

Again thank you,

Jackie

Jackie I felt like you do when I first found this group. I just read for a bit and then I started jumping in with the conversation. There's really no right or wrong way to go. What ever makes you feel comfortable and supported will be just fine. Someone can always help either with an answer or directions. Everyone elses experiences have been informative to me.Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan - 265 pairs needed by 9/15/07 http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...

Jackie,

welcome to the family. As far as getting involved, you are! When you post-- we all read the messages at the group site. That way, you can get your questions answered asap. Any member can respond, and we have a group of 40 or so of us that communicate via the group rather than sending out emails to individual people.

You'll find that you will have several people that you may become very close friends with-- and that you want to correspond with privately, but at least when you do post to the group, one of us will be able to guide you in finding answers to your questions.

The advantage is that you don't have to have 500 email addresses in your private address book-- an email sent to neurosarcoidosis covers it all!

And the questions you ask, may very well be the one that someone to shy to post will need answered also.

Again,

welcome, and know you've found a great family-- all with similar issues.
