Oh Rose, I do hope that you have a great visit. That sure is great medicine. LynneRose wrote: I got a wonderful surprise last night, a phone call from a childhood friend that I haven't seen in 40 years! She moved to Texas in Jr. High, but came back to Indiana every year to visit family, so we saw each other through high school. Then we kept in touch by phone & letters for another 10 years or

so. I lost the last letter she sent me, but I thought that she had gotten married & I couldn't remember the last name. I thought about her over the years & attempted to find her brothers or grandparents (couldn't remember her parents' names!), but had no success. Then a week or so ago, in looking at the photos from my h.s. reunion, I decided to try again, using her maiden name. There she was, or I hoped, so I left a message on her voice mail, and last night she called me back. We talked for 6 and a half hours! She lives in Iowa, and comes back to Indiana every year to visit her parents. So we are looking forward to getting together the next time she's here. Isn't that amazing? Ramblin'

Hi Rose, Debbie T. here, I haven't been around much lately, but I am back. Have had a lot of different problems going on. But that's really great about finding your long lost friend. I have been out of high school for 27 years now and haven't kept in touch with any of my old friends. They all went off in different directions and haven't heard from them since! I hope you have a great reunion with her and catch up on everything in your lives. 6 and a half hours, WOW! What a long conversation! lol Luv , Debbie T.Rose wrote: I got a wonderful surprise last night, a phone

It's good to hear from you, Debbie. Growing up in a small town (about 2000) & having a class size of less than 80 helped us feel closer, I think. Camilla and I first met at an elementary school in the country, with maybe 15 kids in our class. Those kids went on to high school in the "city" of 2000! So the kids from the little elem. school were even closer.
