Guest guest
, I didn't go; I decided to call instead. The NP at the Neuro's office called me back and had me go on and add another 50mg of Imuran. That puts me up to 200 mg per day. If I don't feel better in 3-5 days, I am to call back. I have been hoarse for 4 weeks or so and I have had Bell's and trigeminal neuralgia going on my second day now. Hopefully, the Imuran will help. Thanks for thinking of me. I am kinda down - the trigeminal neuralgia will do that to me. Plus the arthritis in my knees is really bothering me too. Terri G. > > > Hey Terri G, > > How did your doctor appointment go yesterday? Guest guest
Terri, I know how painful trigeminal neuralgia is. It must be so hard to keep having to wait for something to work, then try something else. It's frustrating, but often that's the only way to find the right combination of drugs for you. What are you taking for the neuralgia? Is it effective? Ramblin' Rose Moderator A merry heart is good medicine. Guest guest
Rose, I am using Lyrica but I have started recently and am titrating up slowly. I am onlyat 75 mg q day right now. I am using Tylenol Arthritis for pain; you can take 2 every 8 hours. I am less likely to overdose myself when I take the extended release. I take them at 9am and 5pm. Thanks for asking; I hope this ends soon. Terri G. >>> Hey Terri G,>> How did your doctor appointment go yesterday?
