Med/Surgical Complication?

Hello All! I love this list and all the great info,

caring and sharing that goes on here. I've been lurking

for awhile,{after posting initially}. I'm ready to try

it again.

Ive definitely dedided on the DS. I'm 47 years old-5'7 " -

290lbs.-BMI-46. Co-morbidities include; diabetes,hypertension

edema, chronic lower back pain w/sciatica, knee-pain and a

vivid family medical history which coinsides with all of

the above!! In addition I was diagnosed with ulcerative

colitis in Dec. of 1999. I have been under medical care

and my condition is in remission but I was wondering if

this would preclude me from having this operation?

I would appreciate any info. I haven't found anything on

this yet during my research. BTW, Hull you are the

research KING! I've been sooo impressed.
