Guest guest
I have been keeping tabs on Kirklands page...please still call if you are interested. Not tonight though b/c we have about 35 people coming to a christmas celebration of 's life...very exciting but I wish he was here b/c he would LOVE it! I remember those talks we had about life and death and heaven...and I hope it encourages you to tell you it was some of the sweetest times of our life with . All five of us would talk about it together. N suggested a book to us called Somday Heaven by Larry Libby. We love that book and I highly reccomend it! You can get it on Amazon. Its a bunch of just one page explanations about heaven and death. My favorite is when the question at the top is "What does it feel like to go to Heaven" or something to that effect...and they explain that its like when you fall asleep on the couch and wake up in your bed (after your dad carried you there)...so sweet! We still read it from time to time. In fact I ahve a Christmas table for and its on there. I also gave copies of the book to his friends after he died. The Lord just gave me little opportunities that I would leap on. One time and I were in the car taking Bliss to early intervention and listening to worship music. heard the word spirit and suddenly asked me what a spirit was. As I grappled for what I should say...i told himt hat his spirit was everything wonderful about him that would always be with us on earth and on heaven...and that when he went to live with Jesus (we said that instead of dying) his spirit would live with us and it would live in heaven. I said "Our spirits will live together forever" and then he added "in our hearts". He would often remind me of this in his last weeks too. (Cool side note there is a jewelry line of picture frame jewelry that I found a year ago that had a pendant with three picture holes that says forever in my heart, so I HAD to have it! ) Just look for little opportunities. was so excited about going to live with Jesus and being able to once again do all the things he could no longer do! It gives me great peace now! Please know I am here for you if you want to chat. Also I have written an article called living in the spirital about how I changed my focus from worrying about his physical problems and preparing him for the spiritual journey ahead. If you want to read it, let me know...and that goes for everyone. Just email me offlist for that. I am thinking of you! deb...mom to three great kids and wife to one amazing guy!http://www.lifeofloveproject.org/http://www.debwells.com/
