Guest guest
Ron, I hope you don’t mind that I read this, and I just want you to know that I am still praying for you and still have you on our prayer chain, I am getting weakness in my legs too, first was the left now both, and the left side, sometime when I try to use my leg or arms it just starts shaking, the harder I try the more shaking and pretty soon I fell like I blow my brain out, weird sensation. My doc told me PT wouldn’t work, just keep on going and doing, I do try to get on the treadmill at least 2 or 3 times a week, but can only do about 10 minutes, but I guess that is better then nothing, I just keep on doing life, and praying for my friends, may the love and peace of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ come over you and heal you, in his peace, Marla From: Neurosarcoidosis [mailto:Neurosarcoidosis ] On Behalf Of J. My vision is worst in my right eye. I can not read with my right eye at all. Sometimes I can not open my eye lid even. It is very cloudy, blurry and hazy and dry all the time. So I am know looking like the " one eye monster " ! I tend to close my right eye to read and sometime I find myself just involuntarily closing it. I am still in physical therapy 3 times a week. It has helped some. My legs are a little stronger. The problem with me is that I do not excercise at home at all! This defeats the purpose. I believe I could do a little better if I made the effort to exercise at home and stay out of bed so much. I have lost some weight since my prednisone was lowered. However, I do eat much less also. I have lost my taste for meat. Unbelieveable! I enjoy fresh homemade soup most of the time with fresh baked bread or corn bread. I have been eating a lots of oatmeal for breakfast and this is good. But other than that this is where I am. I still miss my home, my wife, my youth, my health and making love to my wife. I miss holding here, smelling her, laughing with her, gardening and cleaning around the house with her. I miss her smile, her feminine way, hearing her voice and watching her get dressed. So now you know. How are you doing my friend? God bless you, Ron

Your background in eye health knows that-- so please get in and see the doc. I know that dry feeling, and the Restasis has helped somewhat. I still have to use artificial tears throughout the day-- small inconvenience to keep my sight. When I read the "list" of things you've lost-- my heart goes out to you. It's a tale most of us know to well. And those of us that haven't lost our spouses - need to say a prayer of gratefulness-- So, my friend, what keeps you from doing what you know you need to do to keep the legs functioning? (BTW, I'm doing the same thing-- not following the plan I started in pt). I ask, because I too am having to decide -- do I want my mobility, or do I want to keep losing ground? Not much choice there, huh... Ron, know that a day doesn't go by when you aren't in my thoughts and prayers, This disease brought us all together several years ago-- and oysterman-- you are family!! Love to you, TracieSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
