I know the stinky casts can be a hassle, but it could be worse, lol. My dd is

going to have to be in a spica after hip surgery in a couple of months (chest to

toes with a small hole for " diapering " ). As much as I hated the casts and

" leaks " in the leg casts I know I'll wish for that when we have the spica. UGH.

Hope you figure out something that works though! Good luck!

My doctors office gave us some stretchy cushiony tape that we wrapped

around the top of the cast, it stuck to his leg but not *sticky* so it

didn't hurt when we pulled it off. We just removed it whenever it got

messy. You should ask Dr. H if they have something like this, it was

wonderful!
