Rose,

Thanks for the yay! It does take alot of stress off...I feel like a huge boulder has been lifted off my shoulders. I will look into the MBSR...I know I said I would do it before, but I forgot...you know, the memory thing we all have going on! I took both quizzes and I got Wheeler as my partner too...I really wanted Logan...he is sooo sexy! I loved to watch him as "Big" or "Mr. Big" on Sex and The City. I scored 21 out of 30 on the Criminal Minds quiz. Not as good as the rest of you at solving crimes I guess?!

Hugs,

>> > Great news, ! Isn't that a relief? Regarding the neck & back pain: it's easy to attribute every symptom we get to sarc, but remember that thousands of folks without sarc have neck & back pain, so it may not be connected. See what your PCP says, but I strongly recommend the MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction), which is mainly setting aside a little time each day to get as comfortable as possible (without falling asleep) and concentrate on your breathing. Actually focus on just one aspect of the breath--your belly rising & falling, the feeling of air going in & out of your nostrils. It may sound silly, and I was a total skeptic, but a trusted friend talked me into taking a class before scheduling lumbar disk surgery, and it absolutely worked! My back pain isn't gone, but it's back to a level I can live with. No matter what the source of the pain is, we instinctively tense the muscles in that area, which perpetuates & increases the pain. Even general life stress causes muscle tension in the spine & elsewhere. teaches a class in MBSR. If you want more info, check out this website. Jon Kabat-Zinn is a leader is MBSR. The site is for selling books, etc., but also gives a basic explanation of MBSR. I would also click on the link to Oprah & download those two instruction sheets.> > http://www.mindfulnesstapes.com/

, I think deal with the sarc monster, all this investigating & interviewing doctors, etc., hones our profiler skills. You'll improve!

OMG! , I missed your good news email. So glad you got an approval. One small portion of stress lifted can do wonders. It took the quizzes too and Goren would be my partner (I love him, he's so unorthodox) and got 25 out of 30. That's probably because I'm constantly having to stay on my toes with my teenager. I'm in love with the kid this week, but I can't show it too much (give him a rope, he thinks he's a cowboy). He filled up my pill dispenser on Sunday, took the SAT's on Saturday, he's working hard all of a sudden. Either he's growing up or he wants something. Homecomings coming up.But really,

Naa Koshie, I'm so jealous! I love Goren too. D'nofrio (sp?) is one of my favorite actors. The first time I saw him was in "Stuart Saves his Family," which is a crackup about family dysfunction. Rent it sometime if you haven't seen it. It's a full-length film based on the SNL bit, I think it was called "Daily Affirmations with Stuart Smalley."

I've never heard the expression, "give him some rope & he thinks he's a cowboy." That's great. Did you catch the Zits comic strips I sent about teenage boys? If not, they are at the NS website in the Cartoon album in Photos. You would appreciate them. I adapted one of them for my granddaughter.
