Thanks! Btw, I forgot to mention that I bought sugar free Tang. I figured I can drink a few oz of this in the am to substitute my orange juice. It has 100% vitamin C and is only 10 calories. Guest guest
Don't buy too much stuff. I also had Gatorade (Lemon Ice flavor) on hand (I diluted it with water) and some eggs which I tolerated well scrambled with a bit of melted cheese. I also scrambled an egg into some chicken broth and made my own egg drop soup. For some reason I also liked V-8 Juice post-op. Good luck. So, it should not be a problem with either. UNFORTUNATELY, no such claim can be made for ice cream (darn!). --Steve --

Guest guest
Something I find helpful is " Perfect Zero Carb Isopure " dietary supplement. It's a bottled drink, of the kool-aid or gatorade consistency (clear), and a 20-oz bottle has *40* grams of protein in it. Two " flavors " I've tried are Grape Frost and Icy Orange, and I found the " grape " more palatable. (It just tastes sorta purple...) Made with sucralose, so no carbs. I've found it in some (not all) GNC stores - usually kept in a cooler. *Not* cheap - $3.50 a bottle, but I gotta tell ya - there were several days when this was about all I could get down, and the protein in it probably helped a lot with my initial nausea. - SC ----- Original Message ----- > Soywater.. flavored water with 10 grams of protein in it..
