Guest guest
The Indy Sarc Conf/retreat was great! They had 70 attendees. The food was excellent; last night there was BBQ pork that was so good, I wanted to just stand there with a fork & eat it right out of the crockpot. I met Judy & Bob, Carla was there, as well as , who posts occasionally. Sharon & Tom were there with their service dog. We got really cool goody bags--better than the presenters! Really. We got a big M & M's mug, with candy, nifty highlighter & felt markers with push buttons like a regular pen (instead of the caps that get lost), a neat pen that twists on each end for either blue or red ink, a purse-size spray hand cleaner, a nice canvas tote with outside pocket. We had the FSR brochures (sell for $1/each; FSR donated them for the conference) & other educational booklets. Oh, yeah, the speakers were excellent also! More later. I didn't get any photos because my new digital camera is on the fritz, but Bob Basso took lots of pics which hopefully he'll share. Right now I'm tired & my feet hurt, so good night all! Guest guest
For those of you at the Indy Bash, my husband and I would like to thank you for all the kindnesses and courtiousies of the weekend. I am asking all who met Deuse, my Service Dog, to please email me with comments on his behavior and friendliness. The reason being is that there are many a movement banning the Rottweiler from towns and even states. We need to have all the ammunition to persuade town councils and state legislators to stop banning certain breeds. I would like all replies sent privately. Also, if you know someone that was at the bash and does not have email, email me privately and I will give you my snail mail addy. Thank you. Sharon L. Schuckman sharupac@...
