I would like to know if anyone had any special preps before surgery and why.

My Dr. (Macura), does not require any prep. No liquid diet, no fleets, etc.

The only thing they told me is not to eat or drink after midnight. I've

heard that the docs at Mt. Sinai are the same. Now why do some make you do a

bowel prep, fast, etc and others don't?
