Guest guest
This is a nurse here!! I care for longterm ventilator patients in the home care setting. Previously I worked with preemie babies--mostly at the point when they are almost ready to go home--training and preparing parents on CPR, special equipment, and preemie care. I don't know what a JD is? Pammi > Is it just my imagination or are there a lot of RNs and JDs on this > list? I think you're suffering from a recently identified neurological disorder called DSWS, (Duodenal Switch Waiting Syndrome). DSWS is characterized by nervousness, impatience, and paranoia that one is being hounded by lawyers waiving fee agreements and hissing, " Trust me, I'm an attorney. " Don't worry, it usually resolves itself during surgery. HTH Tom
Guest guest
> Tom-- I definately have DSWS, and it has intensified since my surgery was postponed from 9/5 to 10/3. However, since I live in NYC, the paranoia etc, are a normal part of the lifestyle. I do have this insane urge to run after MDs yelling " Hey do you do WLS and when can you operate on me? " As for JDs, being one myself, I generally tell them to take it on contingency or buzz off! > RNC, JD and suffering from DSWS--at least until 10/3! > As to the number of nurses, I think you're right. > > But, as to JDs, I think it is your imagination, but don't feel bad. > I think you're suffering from a recently identified neurological > disorder called DSWS, (Duodenal Switch Waiting Syndrome).
