Boil or bump?

Hi guys, For a couple of weeks , I have had this boil, pimple like bump (kind of like a little lump) under my arm. At first I didn't think much of it. It burst and leaked out pus (Sorry, grouse!) and then I thought it would heal and go away. But it hasn't gone away and I am a little anxious. It doesn't look as bad as it did at first. The lump has gone down a little and it's not leaking a lot of pus like it was. I just happened to come upon a news article on MRSA and I was curious so I looked it up on Google. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mrsa/DS00735/DSECTION=2 The worst picture almost looked like it first did, now the 2nd picture is almost like the bump is now. I haven't had a fever but have had nausea, headaches and fatigue - not many of the symptoms on the list. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/007261.htm I haven't been around any of the contagious areas. Anyway , my husband says not to worry about it , it doesn't look that bad now. My mother says it's just a boil. I don't know whether to call the doctor or not. You know how drs. are if you go for an appt. and it results in nothing - taking up their time and acting like you are a hypochondriac. (At least mine is that way.)
