Just letting everyone know we had our first appt. with Dr. P on

Friday. He agreed with us that Karter's (13 months) right foot was

not right. He recasted rt. foot and he will have a tenotomy Friday

the 23rd. He will then be in cast on both legs for around 2 weeks.

Dr. P. was wonderful. And we will be bringing his other sets of

casts, since they had always been cut off before this. His feet were

never casted out so far, only casted to what a normal foot looks

like. We think this is the cause on all the relapses. Just wanted to

let everyone know that we are happy we found this group which led us

to seeing Dr. P. It has been a very long 13 hours with the casts. He

doesn't seem to sleep longer that 45 min. and has only done that 4

times in 30 hours, so hopefully he will get use to them soon, for next

week he will have 2.

I was very happy to see many Dr.'s in with Dr. P studying. I just

wonder why it is that our other Dr. was 40 min. from Dr. P and did not

know what he was doing. I hope everyone will learn from Dr. P so when

he no longer works someone will be able to carry all his secrets to

parents.

We had lunch with Michele and Collin on Friday. Since we are close to

Iowa City we are going to try to pick them up and maybe have a day

outing, so they have some company. It was great to meet someone that

knows what I am talking about. Hoping to check in with her after Wen.

and we will be there again Friday, so we can maybe go for lunch again.

Anyone else to be in Iowa City in the next couple of weeks? You are

more than welcome to join us for lunch.
