Guest guest
My stomach has stopped working. It will not empty, whatever goes in stays there until my stomach gets so over enlarged that I must vomit. I am currently at home with a protein IV. The doctor has done this because I was getting very depressed at the hospital. I have had 2 NG tubes removed. The 2nd one was removed with my insistence, the doctor wanted to leave it in until the stomach started working approximately 2 weeks. The doctor wants to wait and see if it will fix itself and if not then they will have to have a Gastrologist go in and clean out the stomach. Has anyone had this? What happen with your case? Did the stomach start working? Did you keep the NG tube in the whole time? Did you have to have the Gastrologist fix the problem? Any info would be a help.
