Good reasoning here! I know Dr. Hess also removes the gall bladder and I

read somewhere that it is because after DS (and maybe wt. loss) there is a

chance for more gall bladder problems, so they just get rid of it to prevent

those. Dr. Hess also removes the appendix because he wants to know any pain

a post-op is feeling is not appendicitis. Carole
