Guest guest
That is exactly what I was thinking! Hopefully I will be able to stick with this new plan! Thanks for the support Judie. Its nice to come here and have people who understand. Lisbeth Judie Hensel wrote: Lisbeth, try just weighing yourself once a week, say, on Wednesdays....thats what I do (unless I really MUST get on the scales for some reason before that time!) Youll feel better then!! Just go about your life and eat and let the surgery do the job it was intended to do.....to make you happy!! Guest guest
Lisbeth..... Now that Im closer to goal, my weight comes off alot slower and thats why I weigh on Wednesdays only. Ive lost 8 lbs since June....can you imagine how batty it would have driven me to weigh every day losing 8 lbs in 2 months? Enjoy life now.......enjoy all it has to offer including the foods you now eat (and that means eating out with friends and family too!) The surgery works, we both know that....!! =) Hugs, Judie

Guest guest
You know sometimes I feel like I turned in one thing for another. I spent years RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNING from scales and now the only thing I havent done is drag the damn scale into bed with me. I went on www.obesityhelp.com and I plugged in my starting weight and the average weight loss by most WLS and now I worry if I am making my goal every month. *shakes head* so now i am thinking to myself that I have issues with the damn scale. But I dont wannna throw it out grrrrr I hate compulsions I wish I had my old fear of the scale. But thanks Judie I needed to hear what you said and how you said it! *hugs* Lisbeth Judie Hensel wrote: Lisbeth..... Guest guest
Lisbeth, I ran into this when I did my last diet. I finally put the scale in the garage for awhile. A partner-in-crime (girlfriend) was even worse than I, weighing morning and night AND at the gym everyday. Her husband took the scale away and hid it and only gave it to her once a week. Do you think Grimm would be up to it? - > > You know sometimes I feel like I turned in one thing for another. Guest guest
Actually Grimm belongs to Liane! But I am also on the look out for Grimm or or Greg (Just like sunday morning I'm easy ok not that easy) I have the feeling I am going to have to do the one thing that will keep me away from that scale. Put in in the most inaccessible place in my house the top of my closet. I am to damn lazy to drag it down everyday! Lisbeth mariak415@... wrote: Lisbeth, I ran into this when I did my last diet.
