This seems to be one of Dr. Rabkin's pet peeves too. Several times in

his monthly meetings, I have heard him comment that docs who discourage

the DS due to the its malabsorption are ignoring the fact that the RNY

is also a malabsorptive procedure.

Yep, it sure quacks and walks like that duck! Business and

Professions Code Sec. 17200 & following are pretty broad in scope.

They wouldn't need to be for this outright falsehood.
