Guest guest
Howdy everybody!!!! Man, it's so GREAT to be back among my buddies!! Sorry I've been unable to post, but my stepdaughter was here for her six week stay, and I did not want her to know ANYTHING about my surgery. All she knew was that I had my gallbladder removed (which I DID) and nothing more. Therefore, I was unable to get on the computer without her finding out about it. But, she left today, and here I am!!! By the way, thanks to those of you who had responded to my question about swallowing water a few weeks ago. My doctor was right. It has gotten MUCH MUCH better. It occasionally still feels like I swallowed a lead ball, but the improvement is wonderful!!! The good news is that I am now officially six weeks and one day post-op, and I've lost 34 pounds. I'm so THRILLED!! I know that that is not as much as some of you have lost, but I'm now only 16 lbs. away from 200!!!!! I can't REMEMBER the last time I weighed under 200...............perhaps when I was BORN???????? Anyway, I've missed you all terribly, and I can't wait to start reading all your posts again. I was terribly BUMMED when I logged on today and found that I had 1000 messages!! I had to delete them all, because it would have taken me FOREVER to get through all of them!!! A-DUHHHHHH I forgot to put myself on no mail............. Okay, I gotta go for now, but I look forward to soaking up all of your WONDERFUL information!!
