Howdy everybody!!!!

Man, it's so GREAT to be back among my buddies!! Sorry I've been unable to

post, but my stepdaughter was here for her six week stay, and I did not want

her to know ANYTHING about my surgery. All she knew was that I had my

gallbladder removed (which I DID) and nothing more. Therefore, I was unable

to get on the computer without her finding out about it. But, she left

today, and here I am!!!

By the way, thanks to those of you who had responded to my question about

swallowing water a few weeks ago. My doctor was right. It has gotten MUCH

MUCH better. It occasionally still feels like I swallowed a lead ball, but

the improvement is wonderful!!!

The good news is that I am now officially six weeks and one day post-op, and

I've lost 34 pounds. I'm so THRILLED!! I know that that is not as much as

some of you have lost, but I'm now only 16 lbs. away from 200!!!!! I can't

REMEMBER the last time I weighed under 200...............perhaps when I was

BORN????????

Anyway, I've missed you all terribly, and I can't wait to start reading all

your posts again. I was terribly BUMMED when I logged on today and found

that I had 1000 messages!! I had to delete them all, because it would have

taken me FOREVER to get through all of them!!! A-DUHHHHHH I forgot to put

myself on no mail.............

Okay, I gotta go for now, but I look forward to soaking up all of your

WONDERFUL information!!
