Guest guest
Hi folks, I've been just terrible at keeping up with this group, and I apologize. I wish the UI were better --- I'd like to be able to see threads at a glance and tell wgat's new... Anyway, here's our update. Raphael is in his 4th cast and things are going well. Not only has the correction that can be achieved pre-tenotomy been achieved, but his feet are also big enough for the shoes, so we're scheduled for the tenotomy on Monday. I know why it's necessary and feel pretty comfortable with it, but it occurs to me now that Dr. Mosca didn't discuss any potential risks with us. So, I thought I'd post here and see if anyone knew. What are the risks associated with the procedure? Does the tendon ever not reattach? What then? Thanks, -- Toby 5/02 Raphael 9/05 lcf, tenotomy 10/

Guest guest
, I can send you a copy of a paper I have of Dr. Dobbs' on bleeding complications. I believe this is really the only risk, to my knowledge there has never been a case where the tendon did not re-attach. Only .02% of the 200 tenotomies they performed had this complication. I'll send it to you in a separate email where I can do an attachment. > > Hi folks, > > I've been just terrible at keeping up with this group, and I apologize. > I wish the UI were better --- I'd like to be able to see threads at a glance > and tell wgat's new... > > Anyway, here's our update.
