Guest guest
A friend of mine told me about a new procedure that he heard about on GMA last week. It is called the Transcend Implantable Gastric Stimulator. Two electrodes from a pacemaker-like device are attached to the stomach wall. They discharge a tiny current and apparently eliminate any hunger. They have been used in Europe since the mid nineties and are in investigational trials in the U.S. The manufacturer is in the US. Their website is www.transneuronix.com. Has anyone heard anything about this? Best - Nick in Sage
