Guest guest
Hi e, Sorry to hear about all the problems with your brace. We're living in the NE of Italy but went to the states for the treatments and now our son is 2yrs 7mtns. We didn't start until late in the day as we couldn't find a doctor locally. I'm originally from the UK and did consider trying to get a private appointment there. I don't know if this is possible or feasible- maybe some of the UK people could help you with that. But it seems like a second opinion would put your mind at rest. Since I was in two systems I was able to use the US system and go there. However the doctors hereI currently use has no experience other than the casting part in residency so is learning by looking in the red booklet- which I can't lay my hands on right now but is avaliable online. I go for my checkups with him. I also send digital pictures to our original doctor in the US to check. Ridley is doing well. I hope things work out better for you- don't give up. Melitsa and Ridley. Little miracles happen everyday. Message: 3 Date: Mon, 17 Oct 2005 09:34:46 +0100 (BST) Subject: New member from Italy! Hello everybody, I am e from Italy, father of Alessandro (almost 4 months) with congenital bilateral clubfoot. I recently joined this list as my baby is being treated according to Ponseti method but, as almost everyone, I am experiencing problems with the DDB.
