Guest guest
Can someone please direct me to which pictures in the photo bank might be of kids with atypical feet? Appreciate it! Went to the orthotist yesterday and watched as SHE reefed Hayden's foot up and he screamed. Then she felt it necessary to say " you're crying so hard and I'm not even hurting you " . But then why is he crying that hard? His bones don't move that way yet. Anyway, she molded some foamy stuff around his feet and then fitted that in the shoes to see if they will stay on, which they did except that he was completely miserable for the next 7 hours until I removed them. My husband told me that he had talked to a colleague who has a son with clubfoot (he is now 15) and that she had seen Dr. Pirani. She said she didn't like him because he called her an over-anxious mother, but that she had liked Dr. Alvarez when she had consulted with her. I started to panic as he was telling me this because I thought he was now going to give me more resistance to switching, BUT then she told him that her son LOVES Dr. Pirani! So it was good for him to hear something positive from someone other than me. I'm going for my referral today and possibly will get Hayden's vaccinations done as he hasn't had any yet.
