Guest guest
I was looking at my discharge papers and it does list Vita4life as an option...I don't know why they don't...just like they all give different protein amts to eat, take different things out in surgery etc. AJ " Mia " wrote: good to be true. >Has anyone taking these supplements discussed it with their doctors? >If so, do the doctors agree that these supplements and the liquid >protein are enough to sustain us? >If they do, why don't they suggest these supplements to us, why do >they prescribe the ADEK's, multi's, iron, calcium etc. separately? I tend to agree with him. Some of these protein liquids are nasty tasting such as the Cher Amino and only yields 15 grams of protein per tablespoon. Id much rather eat a couple of scrambled eggs with bacon than sip that stuff for more protein! > > > > And the liquid protein...why don't they suggest that? Guest guest
Vita4Life supplements were designed for people who had the RNY. Their needs are diffrent because of the tiny stomach, differing lengths of what we call " common channel " and lack of duodenum remnant where some absorption happens. Ergo, they contain *more* than what we need. The owner of the company is a self taught RNY post op. She certainly has gained expertise. She also adamantly opposes the DS. Dr Fox in Tacoma WA was her RNY surgeon. in Seattle > Hi, > I'm new here and I'm scheduled to have my surgery on October 29. > I just went to the website of Vita4life.
