Guest guest
First of all, thank you all for your help and advice. I will be sending pictures of Maddie's(6 wks old) feet in soon, so you can look at them. I thought her feet did not look fully corrected after only 5 weeks in casts, especially after her heel won't stay in her shoes because the heel does not touch the sole of the brace shoe. I am calling her doctor today and I will let you know what her says. I am currently taking her to UMASS Medical center in Worcester, MA. We do live close to Boston. Do you know of any Ponseti trained specialists in this area? Any more advice is always appreciated. By the way, Maddie has not had a tenotomy yet because the doctor said her feet were flexible enough and did not need it. Does this make sense? Once again, thanks for all the help so far. I am so glad this site exists. It helps to be able to talk to other parents going through the same thing. - Michele
