Guest guest
Jake had ATTT surgery (for the first time lol) 18 mos ago, and then broke his leg about a year ago and was in a hip spica cast for almost 9 wks. He just had his 2nd ATTT surgery last week. So we've got a lot of experience with casts here! It is totally normal for your child to be sore & achey after coming out of a cast. I remember Jake getting sore and tired quite quickly when he came out of his casts; it was at least a couple weeks before he was walking well and had decent endurance. He would overdo it occasionally and then not walk much for the next couple of days. Hope this helps!
