After a week of trying to get Maddie's heel into her shoe for the dbb,

we went back to the doctor. After he tried to make us out to be

incompetent with putting the brace on, he realized her foot wasn't

corrected properly. This helped us decide to switch doctors and go to

dr. kasser at Children's Hospital in Boston. It's closer to us, and

he is on Dr. Ponseti's list of recommended doctors. Unfortunately, he

can't see us until December. Since Maddie is out of her casts and the

brace doesn't fit right, I think we might lose any correction we may

have had in her foot. However, she's a lot happier now without the

brace. i don't know if there's anyway to keep the correction without

the casts or brace, but seeing Dr. Kasser will be worth it. Thanks

for the advice.
