I still think very highly of it but please don't rip apart all

of the people who have decided to go with the RNY.

~Sherry~

Sherry, I agree. I had planned to go RNY but " switched " to DS a few weeks

ago. I have spoken with several people who swear by their RNY and say it is

the best thing they have ever done!

Since I have " met " the DS'ers via e-mail, the ones who've had the procedure

say " it's the best thing THEY have ever done! " Just today, I spoke with a

woman who works for a Portland, OR surgeon (who does DS and RNY). The woman

had RNY 2 years ago. Even tho' she knows all about DS, she told me if she

had it to do over again, she would again choose the RNY. She started at

over 400 and now weighs 185.

So, my opinion is for everyone to educate themselves as much as possible,

and make the decision that best suits them. :)
