Guest guest
Sue That is so Funny. I would love a set of shark teeth. I remember the first time that happened to me. I thought I had swallowed a rock and it was going to pop out my back. SO remember to chew your food 30 times and if you are going to eat chicken eat the thigh meat because it is usually the moistest piece of the chicken. I am 3 years out and I still find roast chicken some times too hard to digest. Ramona

Guest guest
big lesson, when eating, chew, chew, chew! I feel like a snake that just ate a rat. I had el pollo loco tonight, even tho I thought I chewed till the cows came home....its in my chest and aching. I think this surgery could be improved if we got a set of shark teeth with the pouch... we could chew better. I think tomorrow I will eat soup. Hugs! Guest guest
Sorry about that Sue. If it is chicken you are talking about..yepper, that will do it to you if you aren't careful. Sometimes is would make me feel lathargic...just wiped out for a couple of hours (sleepy sort of - really don't know how to express it in words). I wish you better luck with the soup. Guest guest
Hey Sue!! Lucas made weight!!! He has dropped from 295 to 269 and still determined and losing. He has won first and second place in two wrestling tournaments so far. He did have a scary experience though on Saturday. His opponent was suffocating him...he tapped out but the ref didnt see it. By the time the hold was released he collapsed on the mat. It took the nurse 45 min to get his breathing under controll(he has asthma). But it hasnt scared him off, he is still going. Now he wants to wrestle in college. -- In gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients , " sue mendez " <mendez6@s...> wrote: > > big lesson, when eating, chew, chew, chew! Guest guest
Sue... The same thing happened to me yesterday. I had chicken breast strips which I heated them up in the microwave then chewed them to the consistency of baby food...but...about 15 minutes after I ate I thought I was going to explode. That sensation lasted about an hour. I've eaten breast meat before without the same experience so I guess my pouch has become more sensitive to this food. Guess I'll have to try dark meat next time. Regards, Gordy > > big lesson, when eating, chew, chew, chew! I feel like a snake that > just ate a rat.
