RE: stomach viruses and mito

With Grace we usually head to the hospital if it is obvious that the vomiting and or diarreah is not going to let up within a few hours. If she cannot keep down fluids (via oral or g tube) we are headed very quickly. Fortunatly Grace rarely gets sick (knock on wood) but there has only been one time that she did have a stomach virus and we did not have her admitted. This was also the time where she regressed the most and longest (she was down for a little over 2 months.) Now, as inconvenient as it is we know it is better to have her in then to try to ride it out at home.
