Guest guest
Hi , Im , Hailees mom, i had Harrington Rods placed in my back for scoliosis in 1983, as far as the mito aspect i couldnt tell you.. I will be honest it was a very rough surgury for me, im sure since 83 it has improved, but i wouldnt change it, i wore a back brace from second grade until 8th grade, i hated it... when i had the surgury it was a full body cast for a few weeks in the hospital, i know its changed a lot since than.. Good luck.. Its all worth it in the end...

Guest guest
Hi my daughter who is 7 is going to have a growing rod put in on feburary 28,2005. Has anyone ever had this done and do themito kids do okay? This is the first major surgery since she was 2months old and i seem to be really nervous. She is excited because she does not have to wear aback brace no more. I don't see the doctor until Feburary 8th to talk to him and he has done this many times before.Just wanting some insight into this bathing, care for her afterward and anything else you can think of.
