Guest guest
It could be the carnitor. If the dose is too high, it can cause loose bowels and a " fishy " smell. Check with your doctor. Guest guest
Hi there! In re the cocktail causing loose stools...Abigail has the same issue with carnitor. Thus we can only dose her twice rather than three times a day. Talk to the doc, they will advise you. It is not at all uncommon to have loose stools...however it is important to let the dr. know. Guest guest
Hi Keely, Carnitor is the one that can cause diarrhea. You may want to try backing him off it to see if it's the one that's causing the problem. My son can't take carnitor because of the diarrhea it causes. Guest guest
Vitamin C can cause diaharrea if you get more than your body is used to. > > s been on the cocktail (CoQ10, carnitor, Vitamins B1,B2,C and > E) for almost a week now, and has had steadily worsening > diharrhea... its to the point now that its watery and VERY foul... > is this common? > hes not dehydrated at all, and doesnt seem bothered at all by it... > > thanks > Keely

We had that problem with carnitor at first, but things settled down after a while. We still have the problem sometimes with CoQ10, but we just skip a couple of doses, then start it up again.
