Guest guest
I am beside myself, I m franticly trying to find someone who will do a bone marrow biopsy. I have seen another rheumatologist at hershey Med center, The burg pheumatologist just blew me off and said I was senile. needless to say I know longer see him. My internest taqlked to his friend at the Hershey Medical Center, It took about weeks to see her,She is absolutely brilliant, She pbviously has a photogenic memory, she read Dr. Baughman's 4 page letter in about 10 seconds. Because of my severe anemia which has been on procrit and/or aromesp with IV iron for over 15 months with slow slow results. She wants a bonemarrow biopsy from my hip. Main complication is that when there is bone surgery and there is any postop bleeding I develop MRSA which left me hospitalized for 2 1/2 years. I coded 3 6imes and also had flash pulmonary edema once. Fortunatly I have mo memory of this except when ththey gan me narcon 4 hours after I think it was my 10th total knee. For all you non medical people Narcon removes all narcotic in your system and you wake up screaming for God to let you die. Fortunately there was an wonderful resident there who insisted they give me a little demerol after the narcon wore off. Few patients on that floor had much sleep that night all I can remember is screaming a blood curdeling scream because of the incision Pain. all I remember is everyone else telling her not to give me anything and this wonderful female resident gave me some Demeral IV. I will always be indepted to her. She stayed with me after the IV Demeral and all I could do was thank her for standing her group. All I could remember is her saying Judy is a human being, you can't leave her in the condition she is in. Dr. Baughman thinks that there is sarcoid in mu bone marrow and the doctors here thing that a bone marrow from my hip bone is the way to go. I am sick of this 003905=2938 diseases. Having sarc and MRSA is the pits because everyone is afdaid to anyone who hasw had serious MRSA. I can see that Bob isso scared about me, I think he is afraid that I don't have to much time to live, and truly I have so much more to live for. I am so distressed over this I have no more strength to fight. Judy in PA
