Guest guest
, I just wanted to share what we did because, as you've learned, those pj's are so hard to find. We would put a onesie (they do come long sleeved you know) or whatever on her and then we'd put a blanket sleeper on her that had the feet cut off. IF she needed a diaper change, which gets less and less likely during the night as they get older, I'd just take off the blanket sleeper from her shoulders down and change her knowing the onesie was keeping her warm. Just a thought... Chris sleepers Hey all! I was so excited yesterday, because Old Navy had 4 different baby boy sleepers with no feet. All had snaps in the bottom, and 2 had snaps all the way up. They did only go to 6-12 months, and I was looking for 12-18 months( can't believe I am already buy this size, he was just born in Nov. which seems like yesterday). Anyway, they didn't help me out, but you may check your store if you are needing some! They are so hard to find. 11/19/
Guest guest
One Step A Head's online store has them up to an XL 26-36 lbs. that is the biggest I'v seen them so far. > > > Thanks for the idea. How big can you get the blanket sleepers? is a long little guy! I have bought sweatpants and oneies for him to use as he outgrows his other jammies. I don't really like the tight snug fitting 2-piece jammies yet, they are just to much trouble. > > > > > sleepers > > > Hey all! Guest guest
Good idea. We like sleep sacks. Since I am a seamstress of sorts I made my own pattern that fits over the bar. Am willing to share. Been a while since I put a note about that. There is one version size 2T in the file section that can be printed off and taped together. Long and short sleeve versions. I do have other sizes to the patterns too. Just a thought sleepers Hey all! I was so excited yesterday, because Old Navy had 4 different baby boy sleepers with no feet. Guest guest
Oh we used sleep sacks that I my friend and I made as well - but sometimes it gets so cold here you have to use three or four warm layers to keep warm all night. I really wonder sometimes why I keep living here! sleepers Hey all! I was so excited yesterday, because Old Navy had 4 different baby boy sleepers with no feet. Guest guest
The Gap also has these in the larger sizes. My little guy was also born at the end of November and he's in 12 months clothes now, and will likely be in a bigger size within the next month or so! Crazy. He was only 5 pounds when he was born! The Gap is also putting snaps on more of their pants now. They did some marketing research with parents and found that most wanted snaps on everything! I love marketing research - and I don't just say that because it is what I do. That's why I started sending letters to the clothing manufacturers. If enough parents do that, they will make a change if they can - especially if it will improve their bottom line. > Hey all! Guest guest
- My niece at 4 months weighed 19 lbs and was roughly 23 inches-short and fat. She has since grown into her weight-she still is big in her percentile but longer now. Check with your pediatrician at your next well baby visit. My david is running on the thin side-just hit 19 lbs and is 11 months old-he was 8 14 when he was born!! He has a classmate who weighs 27lbs and is only 6 months. His parents are not too worried about his weight, just worried about his development-ie rolling over since he is heavy, etc. HTH, Kathleen mom to 8/28/04 bcf dbb 14/7 > > Hey all! Guest guest
My little guy is a big too. We had to take him out of the baby carrier at 4 months because he was 20 pounds! He slowed down big time around 6 months. He is 14 months now and weighs 31 pounds. He is very big and long for his age...looks like he's already 2, but his ped. is not worried. And thanks for all the shopping tips for footless jammies!! We love old navy, GAP, and carter also. It's a little harder for us being in Germany, but we are headed for the states in a few weeks and will have to do some shopping. > >Reply-To: nosurgery4clubfoot >To: nosurgery4clubfoot >Subject: Re: sleepers >Date: Fri, 29 Jul 2005 13:21:50 -0000 > >- >My niece at 4 months weighed 19 lbs and was roughly 23 inches-short >and fat.
