Guest guest
We lived in Germany for 3 yrs back in the early eighties. The Europeans do get much more exercise than the typical American. They shop everyday for their food and have the small fridges to prove it. They walk or use buses for the most part and that was something to get used to. I didn't have sarcoidosis back then so didn't need to worry about medical stuff. I remember seeing a woman carrying a loaf of bread (whole) without plastic under her arm (sleeveless and hairy) down the street in Paris. It's funny how certain things stick with a person...that image is still there!Blessings,Becky Mommer wrote: I spent my whole summer over there last summer, and the food was horrible but the bread in France was to die for. And we got it Fresh every day. My son is in England for the summer it is very wet there. The Europeans get a lot more exercise than Americans. Other than those form the Seattle Area, They are something else. I traveled with my diagnosis in several languages. Which was good as when I got to Spain my narcotics ran out it was a nightmare getting the prescript refilled. It took a private hospital and government stamp to get it. M Be a better Globetrotter.
