Guest guest
Good advice, Joann. I just wanted to reiterate how very useful it usually is, to increase the amount of food one eats, if on a plateau. It blows me away that to eat more = lose more -- but it is so true, in almost all cases I've heard. Especially eating more protein. I know its hard to try and eat more early post-op, but if possible, it would probably really help get the weight moving again. Our bodies tend to hoard the calories early post-op, cuz it is in shock from the small amount of intake. The more we can give it -- even every couple hours each day -- the more efficient the metabolism. At least, that is how it has worked on me and many others I know.
