Guest guest
, I currently have a private disability policy that took about 6 months to get but I have been working on my SSD for a couple of years now. I am down to my last appeal before starting over; I don't want to start over because they have to pay me past due benefits for the last 2 years or so. If you are going to do SSD get a good attorney. They are paid only if you get your disability; 25% of the past due benefits. Terri > > > > > > > > > *Marla, Humira and Enbrel are both injections > > > > you can give yourself at > > > > > home. Guest guest
Terri, Sorry for replying so late, but ive been sick. Where/how did you get a private disability policy? I have applied for SSD, but haven't heard yet. I applied last fall when I couldn't walk at all, then got better and went back to work and cancelled my request for disability. then I got worse again and re-started it and they said I had a better chance at getting approved because I tried to go back to work. They called it an unsuccessful work attempt. Boy do we need it, as I imagine everyone does. I made most of our income. Thanks Cathymosaicgirl1 wrote: ,I currently have a private disability policy that took about 6 months toget but I have been working on my SSD for a couple of years now. Guest guest
Cathy, I am glad everyone is better. I signed up for the private disability policy when I started my last job. I Have never bought one of those policies but I was really starting to feel bad. Guess it is a good thing I did. I went without income for about 7 months and then it kicked in. I am still fighting for SSD. Be sure to get an attorney to help you with the disability. Take care.
Take care.
