Guest guest
Hi, I don't always check this group anymore as we are " graduates " . But I am seeing the tail end of something big here with this award. Could someone briefly post what this is about, and if we can help by voting or sending our names in support? I see others are adding names to the list that will sign the absolutely beautiful essay (and this is coming from an English teacher) so I'd like to add ours. Doug and Shelley Lapp, parents of Evan who was born with bilateral clubfoot, treated successfully with the Ponseti method, and now at age 5, approaches the speed of light when running! Guest guest
Shelley, This " achievement award " is for the new NBC show " Three Wishes " . You can nominate dr. P yourself by logging on to the shows website, you just have to be specific about the wish, which ee has applied in her beautifully written narrative. I think it will be wonderful if we get individuals nominating Dr. P themselves as well as this one with the longer description coming from the group with lots of parents and children's names at the end. I think the plan is to also use what ee wrote, if she approves, to send to other news media or shows to try to spread the word as well. > Hi, I don't always check this group anymore as we are " graduates " . > But I am seeing the tail end of something big here with this award. > Could someone briefly post what this is about, and if we can help by > voting or sending our names in support? > > I see others are adding names to the list that will sign the > absolutely beautiful essay (and this is coming from an English > teacher) so I'd like to add ours. > > Doug and Shelley Lapp, parents of Evan who was born with bilateral > clubfoot, treated successfully with the Ponseti method, and now at age > 5, approaches the speed of light when running! Guest guest
I think maybe ee's essay nees to be sent in again with specific instruction on adding names to the list... unless she or someone else want to take the time to gather up all the " add me " s to add at the bottom. There have been several so far... I would have added my name to the end, but I wasn't sure how she wanted iot done now that so many have posted " add me to the list " . I will certainly send in a separate nomination, but I was thinking that maybe we need to be a bit more organized about how we do this. wrote:Shelley, This " achievement award " is for the new NBC show " Three Wishes " .
