Guest guest
I have only lost 7lbs since June 15th. Have not lost ANY in a month. My surgery was May 9th, revision May 25th. This is the longest plateau I've have heard of, and I am really getting worried. My total loss is now 42 lbs Darla

Guest guest
Darla, Look at the total picture. So far, you have been averaging about a 3.5 lb. loss per week. That is great! I used May 25th as your surgery date since I GAINED weight in the hospital. Sometimes, your body drops a large amount of weight and needs to " adjust " . Are you eating enough? Starvation mode causes our bodies to go into hibernation and hold onto the fat. Are you eating some carbs and fat? Try a baked potato with butter and/or sour cream and use the real stuff. Try not to weigh yourself more than once a month. When I added a walk to my routine everday, I nudged myself off of a plateau. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water. Good luck.
