Hello all. My name is and i'm glad to be joining you here.

I'm also glad to be starting my journey. I live in Rohnert Park Ca. and

have Northern Ca Kaiser. I am a divorced mother of a 6 year old girl.

My current weight is 260 lbs. My primary care physician at Kaiser has

shown his support and agreed to give me the referrels i need to get

started. I will also be attending the bariatric overview class in

February. My only fear is that i will be turned down by the approval

committee. I have 4-5 co-morbidities and may even have ones i'm not

aware of. If anyone has any advice or tips on how to ensure being

approved or speeding up the approval process (haha), I would love to

hear it. Thanks for listening.

, welcome to the group. Glad that you are

here. You will find enormous information to assist

you here. Although I am not on the committe that

determines if you qualify, I think that you should

have no problem given the fact of your weight and the

4-5 comorbidities. So, get your referrals and get

that out of the way. As soon as your referrals have

been complete and your PCP gets the result, they can

submit it right online to the committe. I know that a

lot has changed since a 11 months ago when I stared

but I got my approval in three days via email. The

letter took like a week to two weeks to arrival but I

knew because my PCP sent me the letter that she got

via email. So no worries. Keep us posted on your

progress.
