Guest guest
I posted once already but don't think it went through. I am going to docs later. I have been dizzy/light headed for a week now and went home three times last week cause of it. I am 5 months out of surgery and 60 lbs down. I take vitamins every day. I have started drinking cofee (black) 1 cup in the mornings since a week and a half ago. I know it is a no no and if I have to justify it was because I was so tired. Has anyone else got this way? Guest guest
I'm going through a bout of being lightheaded, tired feeling and I think sometimes I'm slightly dizzy. I just don't feel as energetic as I think I should. This really started, I seem to remember, last spring when I was about 10 months out from surgery. I seemed to feel better when exercising. Then, last August & September I found myself having bouts of sensations that felt like low blood sugar. I started eating more frequently. Bottom line is I'm beginning to think that I might not be absorbing all the vitamins that I'm taking. Yesterday the lab drew blood for tests to see how my vitamin levels are so I haven't heard the results yet. What I suggest to you is that maybe you should ask your doctors (either your PCP or WLS doctors) to check your vitamin absorbtion. It is know that WLS patients often don't efficiently absorb all their nutrients. I hope this suggestion helps. --Sandi H. > > I posted once already but don't think it went through.
