The best thing to do is when it doubt get to the doctor for lab work. This is what they do for Abigail in her case. This an example and not medical advice.

1. Electrolytes, Glucose

2. TSH

3. Urine Organic Acids

4. Lactate

5. Plasma Amino Acids

6. Urine Ketones

7. Acylcarnitine Levels

8. CPK

9. Urine Myoglobin

The sad thing about a crash is that...there is no telling how long they will last. I hate to tell you that but it is the truth.

I will keep you in my prayers. I hope that all is well very soon.

I had some very good response to my question about Dakota. Thank you very much. Today was his worse day ever. He begged his teacher to let him take a nap on his desk. He looked like he had been hit by a truck, when I picked him up. Limping in lots of pain due to his knees and hips. VERY pale. I am scared to death what could be wrong with him.He has never been dx. with Mito yet his 5 year old brother has. Could this be a crash? How could we even find out? If so...how long do they last? It would be great to have a Mito doctor about right now. Any help would be great!! TamaraPlease contact mito-owner with any problems or questions. __________________________________________________
