and all others having their surgeries:

As a 2.4 year post op I can really tell you only one main thing. Really

really take advantage of your first year. The weight will never come

off that fast again. Do not tempt your body with things on the to avoid

list...its much easier sticking to the plan if you think you cant have

something. If it says dont..then DONT. Use this time to lose absolutely

as much as you can. Im struggling now just to maintain...I have to

watch it just like those who have never had the surgery. Take this time

to learn new behaviors so that when you get to the point where I am the

behaviors are ingrained.

Thank you very much. That makes me work harder now

before the surgery to leave those " don't " foods alone.
